You twist in my veins
Like an oncoming storm
Unleash yourself on me
I want to walk this shaky earth
That meets my trepidation
With delightful, restrained glee
Dampen me in your summer shower
Like mother earth, I open my arms
Awakened by the tender warmth
Of the dawning of your smile
Shout your love to me
Words whispered
In subtle, eager breath and yet
Seeking solace in the untold
Of what lies in and around the cracks
Hidden and undiscovered
Somewhere in that shaky earth
Where my love walks
