NANOWRIMO DIARY – DAY 6

Hello fellow writing buddies! I just wanted to write a short note about NANOWRIMO and let anyone know that cares that I’m on day six of the challenge and I’ve had some very frustrating experiences lately 😦

I just realised that my auto save wasn’t set to One Drive in Word where I am writing my draft and I lost half of an entire chapter which will now need to be re-written. I don’t use Scrivener to write as some writers do – I looked at it briefly and it just wasn’t for me. I do use Grammarly and Pro Writing Aid however for formatting my writing and that seems to work relatively well for me.

What tools do you use when you write? I’d be keen to hear about it or about any other tools I haven’t already mentioned here.

So I am going to be a bit slower uploading the rest of my current short story by about a day or two so please readers, bare with me. I have to make sure I stay on target for NANOWRIMO at all costs otherwise I know if I slip up once, it’ll be difficult for me to get back into the writing rhythm again.

Tomorrow I’ll be having write about 4k words to make up for what I lost today but it’s the weekend and I feel confident that I can do it 🙂 Anyway, do let me know how you’re all getting on if you’re participating and I’ll catch you in tomorrow’s post!

If you’d like to read my current short story, it’s right here.
